Commitment to Protecting Children – Code of Conduct (ESNNA)
At Inca Trail Camping, we are firmly committed to the protection of children and adolescents from all forms of exploitation, particularly the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in travel and tourism (ESNNA).
We have adopted and uphold the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation in Travel and Tourism, promoted by the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) and international organizations.
Zero Tolerance Policy
We maintain a zero tolerance policy against any behavior that promotes or is linked to child exploitation or abuse. All our staff, guides, and collaborators are trained to identify and report suspicious behavior.
Responsible Tourism
As a responsible travel agency, we:
Educate our travelers about ethical behavior and respect for local communities.
Work exclusively with service providers that share our commitment.
Ensure all our experiences are safe, educational, and culturally enriching for travelers and communities alike.
Code Compliance and Reporting
If you witness or suspect any activity related to the sexual exploitation of children in tourism, we urge you to report it immediately to the local authorities or via the official ESNNA reporting channels.
Together, we can make tourism a positive force that protects the most vulnerable and promotes development with dignity and respect.
Inca Trail Camping is a proud signatory of the ESNNA Code of Conduct.
